Let's be real: life and relationships are just plain hard to navigate sometimes. Striking a balance between being loving and getting your own needs met can seem almost impossible. When is the last time you enjoyed your own life? I help broken women and adolescents regain their power. I have a passion for helping women and adolescents who are feeling angry, lost, alone, and frantic to become calm, confident, and capable. I can relate. I have been there. I want to help. I believe in therapy because it has brought me healing and clarity in my own life, and I want to help you experience growth, lasting change, and be able to trust yourself again. I am trained in helping individuals who need healing from relationship conflict, identity crisis, teen anxiety and anger, anxiety surrounding life transitions, depression, and adjustment issues across the lifespan including postpartum depression and anxiety to end of life care.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and obtained my Bachelors in History at the University of Georgia and my Masters in Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington. I have over 8 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked in psychiatric hospital settings, ERs, inpatient substance abuse treatment, medical social work, and counseling with individuals and families.  I live in Athens, Georgia with my 3 pets, 2 kids, and 1 husband.
